Now that you understand what is faith on the previous post, let us look at God`s faithfulness towards you. We need to walk by faith not by sight in the book of 2 Corinthians 5:7 NIV “For we live by faith, not by sight” for God to show His faithfulness.
God`s faithfulness remains consistent and steadfast. Life can be very hard, challenging and seem unfair. When things don’t go the way we have planned it like the walls are closing in towards you and it feels like God doesn’t see what is happening. Nobody understands what you are going through or know how it feels to be in that situation that you are in. You know for an example you might be going through these challenges to list a few:
- Failing subjects in school
- Having no job, no money
- Not getting healed
- Loosing loved ones around you
- Not knowing what your next meal will come from
- Rejection feeling lonely like nobody cares about you
- Etc……
Tell you what, God remains faithful regardless of all these mentioned above and whatever problem or situation not listed, God remains faithful. I know when we are faced with troubles we tend to forget what God has done, what He has pulled you from in the past due to a present situation it all vanishes. He is faithful, He knew you before you were formed. In the book of Jeremiah 1: 5 NIV “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” If God knew you before, it means you are still known unto Him that you are present and you need assistance.
He is faithful and He shall do it 1 Thessalonians 5:24 NIV ” The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.” Problem most of us we suffer from ” what will people say” syndrome that is why we use our own ability and still things don’t turn out the way we want. Let me force and get married because I’m not getting any younger what will people say. The syndrome is holding a lot of people some are even afraid to say it that I’m doing all this, because what will people say. Buying a car that you don’t need just because you want a bigger one to show off, what will people say if I buy a smaller car. Now you are all stressed with a car that you can not maintain. You choose physical sciences in school because what will people say if I’m doing travel & tourism they will think I’m not smart enough. Now here you are repeating a grade. These are just a few scenarios in a million, that people suffer from. Never look unto people but look unto God your creator. The starter and the finisher, the beginning and the end. King David says Psalms 121: 1-2 KJV “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, From whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, Which made heaven and earth.”

Trust God with all your heart Proverbs 3:5 NIV “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” It sounds so simple to say it, but it is difficult for us to do. Today I tell you lucky you have me to tell you that God loves you and He is faithful not in the morning only or during the day nor at night but He is faithful all the time. He wants to show you how faithful He is in that situation. In the book of Matthew 11: 28-30 NIV “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
You may be going through a season of rejection, loss, grief, or uncertainty. Do not be discouraged, there is good news for you: God`s faithfulness will never waver. We see God
s faithfulness evident in the scriptures in the lives of many men and women. Throughout personal difficulties, God continually provided, strengthened, comforted, and supported His children. Hannah had no child but God blessed her with a son named Samuel. God provided for the Israelites manna and did more for them while they were in the wilderness for 40 years.
I wont lie to you things will happen like out of control, but we must continue to give thanks for God`s faithfulness in our lives. Despite how you may feel or the circumstance that you are in, reflect on how God has been faithful to you. As homework now please go through these scriptures that I will mention just now, read them. I repeat read them they shall put your soul at ease knowing that God is faithful.
It might happen that you are reading this article and you really want God to take control in your life but you have not accepted the son as your personal savior the Lord Jesus Christ.
Please read the Lord`s prayer out while believing every word you will say:
Father I come before you, I have heard about your faithfulness. Please don’t pass me by I want to experience your love into my life. Please forgive me all my sins, I confess with my mouth and I believe in my heart that the Lord Jesus came into the world, died for me and rose on the 3rd day. So therefore now I know and believe that Jesus is the son of God and He is Lord and my savior. Please remove my name in the book of death and write my name in the book of life. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Amen.
See that was not so hard now you are officially the child of God. Now here are the scriptures that will strengthen you going forward.
